Building & Facilities Construction

6. Fabrication, Installation & Specialist Tank Services
Our workshop capabilities support quality and speed. We fabricate Structural Steel beams, columns, and platforms; Piping Spools and Special Fittings; and Tanks, Hoppers, and Ducting. All fabrication follows strict quality control protocols, with our teams managing the subsequent site installation and erection.
6.1 Specialist Tank Solutions: Construction, Rehabilitation & Commissioning
We are specialists in the lifecycle management of critical storage assets, offering end-to-end solutions for both new builds and major rehabilitations. • New Tank Fabrication & Construction: We fabricate and install new Fuel Storage Tanks, Explosives Magazines (adhering to SAPS and DoE regulations), Process Water Tanks, and Chemical Storage Tanks. Our process includes detailed design, plate rolling and welding to SANS 10162 standards, nozzle and manway installation, and full non-destructive testing (NDT). • Comprehensive Tank Rehabilitation: We restore aging or damaged tanks to full integrity and compliance. Services include safe Decommissioning & Cleaning, Internal & External Sandblasting, detailed Structural & Lining Inspection, and Plate Replacement of corroded sections. We specialize in applying advanced internal linings (epoxy, phenolic) and external coatings for corrosion protection. • Integrated Installation & Commissioning: We manage the entire site process. This covers Heavy Transport & Logistics to site, Civil Foundation Preparation, Precision Erection & Welding on-site, and installation of all ancillary equipment (piping, valves, gauges, fire protection). Our service concludes with Testing, Inspection, and Commissioning, including hydrostatic testing, leak detection, and final certification for operational handover, ensuring full regulatory compliance for hazardous material storage.
